Tesla to recall 125,227 vehicles over faulty seat belt warning system

Indeed, Tesla has announced a recall of 125,227 Model S and Model X units in China due to a faulty seat belt warning system. The recall affects certain Model S and X vehicles manufactured between September 17, 2013, and January 15, 2018.

The seat belt reminder system might fail, increasing the risk of injury to passengers. Tesla will inspect all identified vehicles and replace the faulty parts free of charge to resolve the issue.

If you own a Tesla from these production dates, we advise you to contact Tesla’s customer service for further instructions or wait for their contact, as they are most likely reaching out to the affected customers. It’s always important to ensure the safety of all vehicle features.
