Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, has strongly criticized a political action committee (PAC) that is using her name in order to support Vice President Kamala Harris. The PAC is specifically targeting Republican candidates in Wisconsin. Haley voiced her displeasure and disassociation with the group and its actions. Such tactics are often employed in political races to garner support, but they can also generate controversy when they involve the unauthorized use of a public figure’s name or likeness.
