The product recall affects Farberware Air Fryers that were sold in Walmart, Target and Kohl’s stores nationwide between January 2019 and August 2020. The recalled air fryer model is the Farberware FX10 Open Fryer and has a date code between 10119 and 21720. The affected air fryers have the lot numbers 0719, 0919, 1019, 1119, 0120, 0220, 0320, 0420, 0520, 0720 or 0920 printed on a white sticker on the product’s SKU label. The air fryer was sold between $30 and $50.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled air fryers and contact EDT Trading LLC, distributor of the Farberware air fryers, for a free replacement product. The replacement product will come with a 3-foot longer power cord to reduce the potential for consumer burns.
