Honda has announced a recall of more than 2.5 million cars in the United States over a potential issue with the fuel pump. The recall affects certain models of the Honda Civic, Accord, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot. The company says that the fuel pump may stop working unexpectedly, leading to a potential engine stall. Honda says that it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified starting in late August and Honda will replace the fuel pump, free of charge, at authorized dealers.
